Tape Inspection
The fully automatic optical inspection performs a thickness measurement and checks the glob top and surfaces. The top and/or bottom of the strip is checked for damage on the surfaces, such as open wire bridges, scratches or fingerprints, etc. It is even possible to integrate an electrical test station to produce modules ready for shipment. Defective modules are clearly marked by a punched reject hole.
