The RFID inlay production equipment is used to attach chips to the antenna substrate and create inlays for Smart Labels and contactless cards. Thanks to continuous development efforts, our chip attach machines are the most proven solution for inlay production. Besides the well-known Mühlbauer quality & technology standards, our DDA 80000 WF demonstrates leading edge performance with a world record and unique UPH of up to 80.000. With our green DDA 40000-P your paper inlay will improve your operations to environmental friendly and flexible inlay production. Our state-of-the-art machines demonstrate leading edge performance for the entire product range, down to 0.2 x 0.2 mm dies and up to the highest yield of >99.7%.

Mühlbauer offers two different technologies for RFID Inlay Production: the commonly used Direct Chip Technology but also the special Strap Technology, where the chip is first attached to the strap and later to the antenna.

In order to meet the trend of RF components in segments of consumer electronics, automotive, RFID and illumination, Mühlbauer has developed the flexible Multi Component Line "MCL", which can attach RFID chips from wafers as well as SMD components from carrier tapes with its well-proven reliability and speed.
