TEMA ISI-CUP

TEMA ISI-CUP, Mühlbauer’s solution for interior surface inspection of cups, is typically used with a vacuum conveyor which picks the cups (bottom up) and transports them clearly separated to the inspection unit. Camera and lighting are encapsulated; the vision panel is made of scratch-resistant unbreakable glass. Each cup is tracked and the camera is automatically triggered when the inspection object is in the optimal position. The inspection parameters are exactly adapted to the individual cup shape and size. If defects like color splatter, blobs, dirt, foreign bodies, holes, cracks, or shape deformations are detected, a reject signal is given to remove the flawed cup. The reject process is separately monitored to ensure a 100% reliable inspection result.
