Where Performance Matters
From October 8th to 12th 2018, another remarkable event took place at the Mühlbauer headquarters in Roding, Germany. The TechWeek 2018 – the third event in this dimension – attracted around 300 guests from more than 30 different countries all around the world.
State-of-the-Art Technologies
During the five-day event, Mühlbauer’s customers and partners got the unique opportunity to see and experience state-of-the-art technologies to get ready for future demands.
Each of the five days focused on another division of the Mühlbauer Group:
On Monday, the business unit Mühlbauer Precision Parts & Systems (MPS) was presented in detail.
In the course of the next two days, the business unit AUTOMATION was in the event’s foreground:on Tuesday, the topic IoT (Internet of Things) was very well received by the audience. Particularly Mühlbauer's products and approaches in the semiconductor sector – for example solutions for the production and personalization of RFID tags, products from the field of die sorting and latest achievements in smart flexible electronics and solar technology – were presented in this context.
Wednesday's motto was "Document Technology: Demand for Efficiency".During this day, not only color personalization technologies for ID documents, but also Mühlbauer’s software solutions for factory automation were introduced to the audience.
On Thursday, the business unit TECURITY® presented its latest innovations in terms of Government Solutions. Not only did the guests get informed about the various possibilities to verify both individuals and documents via Mobile ID. Under the umbrella term “Travel 4.0” they also gained an insight into the future demands and challenges of international travel.
Last but not least, on Friday AUTOMATION’s subdivision TEMA Vision presented its highly sophisticated systems for a seamless industrial and security inspection of banknotes, coins and many more.
A Program Rich in Variety
The keynote presentations in the early morning were followed by two to three expert presentations per day. After an extended lunch break, all guests found themselves divided into smaller groups in the afternoon. During a 2-hour company tour, they were able to convince themselves of the Mühlbauer Group’s broad variety of competences. Especially the size of the company premises in Roding, the versatile competencies of the different Mühlbauer business units, as well as the three newly equipped machine demo rooms fascinated all participants.
On the evening of each single day, all guests and partners gathered for a leisurely dinner and social get-together at City Hotel Roding to round off the day, intensify existing contacts and also make new ones.
A Successful Week
Looking back, the TechWeek 2018 was a very successful event for both customers and the Mühlbauer Group! We are already looking forward to welcoming our esteemed partners to one of our next events at one of our locations and convince them of our competences.
