Tadbik invests in new Mühlbauer RFID Smart Label Equipment

Perfectly matching equipment solutions for fastest reaction times

Tadbik Advanced Technologies, headquartered in Israel, upgraded its roll-based manufacturing with the latest state of the art smart label assembly equipment. The RFID and NFC tag producer purchased a Mühlbauer converting line together with a chip encoding and print personalization system for special projects requiring a dedicated solution and customization, placing Tadbik at the top-tier of RFID convertors worldwide.

Innovative products with serialization printing

With its new equipment, Tadbik is now able to more than double its production capacity and allow for even faster production times especially for some new product developments. Previously, several cycles were necessary to complete the product, now production and encoding is achieved in only one run. For example, innovative products such as the UHF Animal Identification Ear Tag or the UHF respectively NFC Windshield label require unique serialization printing and in-line encoding that can now be produced in a single cycle.

Martin Müller, Sales Manager at Mühlbauer said: “The demand for RFID and NFC products is constantly increasing. Moreover, the market requires more customized solutions, including special printed features, serialization and unique encoding – and all of that with a quick production response time – to be delivered yesterday to the end user! With the new equipment, Tadbik will have a major competitive advantage.”

The new Mühlbauer equipment will save production time, eliminate off-line finishing processes and allow for a high quality product to be produced in a stable process, with on line quality control checks and customization as needed.

Tadbik’s Sales Director Michal Yanuv Max states: “As a convertor at the forefront of the RFID and NFC industry, with a wide variety of innovative and special products such as the Returnable Transport Item labels for plastic crates and pallets and RFID and NFC wristbands, Tadbik required the right machinery supplier." Mrs. Yanuv Max added that "Mühlbauer was the natural choice for Tadbik as we already own a Muehlbauer converting line purchased a few years ago and we have learned to work well together throughout the years. Mühlbauer complied successfully with all the special features that we asked for and helped design a custommade machine that will be flexible and will fit our needs to better serve our clients around the world. In addition, as a family owned company, we feel that Mühlbauer and Tadbik share the same values and DNA which gave us the confidence that any challenge we may encounter can be solved together!“
